EXTENDED FAMILY
Packages range $700-$900
Extended family sessions are rare gems! Getting an entire family together in Northern Michigan can be daunting but it is so worth it to have those images for generations to come.
FAMILY
Packages range $460 to $540
Family sessions can take place outdoors, in-home, or in-studio.
Regardless, we'll document these beautiful moments in a timeframe that fits your family schedule and in a location that fits your vision.
WEDDINGS
Most couples invest between $2000 and $4200
Every wedding is unique and therefore packages are custom-made. I book weddings as small as 2 hours of coverage up to a full day depending on your needs and budget.
Currently booking elopements, micro weddings, and intimate celebrations.
SMALLS
Packages range $225-325
Small sessions are like minis but as a storytelling photographer I really can't get behind the mini timeframe. Smalls operate like minis in order to make them efficient and cater to tighter schedules and smaller budgets. They take place at predetermined locations at predetermined times and clients have their choice of 3 package options.
Smalls typically are available 1-2 times per month May - October. Check my booking site for current offerings.
NEWBORN & MATERNITY
Packages range $460-$620
Together we can create heirloom quality images that will be appreciated for generations to come.
15% discount on a maternity + newborn bundle (entire discount will be applied to newborn session fee)
COUPLES
Packages range $460-$540
For relationship milestones, engagement, anniversaries, and just for fun!
BRANDING
Starting from $450-$950
The image of your business/company/brand/organization is what clients and customers will think of when they hear your name or think of you. The importance of your image cannot be understated. Cedar & Sage Photography offers branding images for you that are friendly and candid-feeling, yet professional.
FAQ
What would you suggest for a cinematic storytelling session? Where do we even start with this? What should we expect?
Great question! Cinematic storytelling sessions do take a little more time and care to plan but they result in a much more memorable experience and images truly worth a thousand words.
We will start with location/activity: the key is to choose a setting where you can naturally interact as a couple or family. That can be at home, in your yard, on a favorite trail, outside your favorite ice cream stop, at the midway, on the beach, having a picnic, etc.
Expect to make real memories as a family while I give prompts, conversation topics, and guidance to keep the session flowing.
Do you help us find a location for the session?
Absolutely! I will help you select a location that works well for your vision, time of day, and season. However I am always open to your suggestions or places that are significant to you and yours. The Northern Michigan Fair? I'm there. Your favorite ice cream stand? Yess! The trail your family frequents? Love it!
We love the storytelling and documentary vibe but will we still get traditional portraits of us smiling at the camera?
You know it! Smiling at the camera isn't the main focus of a storytelling session but variety is important so unless you ask me not to, I'll snap a few traditional portraits. However, if kids are struggling with it I won't push it.
What is your process and timeline after the session?
After your session concludes, I edit sessions in chronological order. If it's busy season (summer through fall) then that means I won't be able to start editing your session straight away. If we captured a full session together I will deliver your gallery in 2-4 weeks depending on the size of the gallery and size of the que. If we captured a small set or mini together I will get the gallery proofs out within 1-2 weeks for you to select the ones you want edited. Never hesitate to reach out if you need an update!
How many images do we get?
Full sessions include the full gallery with the exception of senior sessions (senior sessions are done in image packages due to full skin, hair, teeth, and eye retouching). Small sessions come in packages of 10 images, 20 images, or the full gallery. When booking your session it will be clear how many images are included but if you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out!
Do you provide guidance on wardrobe?
Of course! Wardrobe is an important piece of your story and of your portraits. When you book your session, the confirmation email will have a link to my wardrobe guide. I strongly recommend reading it through 2-4 weeks before your session so you can shop for and order pieces without feeling rushed. I'm always happy to offer one-on-one wardrobe help - just send me those fits!
